About
The Bavarian Cancer Research Center (BZKF) consists of the six Bavarian university hospitals in Augsburg, Erlangen, the two sites in Munich, Regensburg and Würzburg and their associated Comprehensive Cancer Centers (CCC). The CCCs are university oncology centers that operate according to clinical structure and quality specifications.
By joining forces as the CCCs and closely networking their experts, cancer research findings are pooled. The resulting new cancer therapies are to be made available to patients throughout Bavaria.
The BZKF’s free telephone service, PublicCancerHotline, provides citizens with answers to their questions on the topics of early detection, therapy and aftercare of tumor diseases.
