Being there is everything!
On 13 June 2026, the prevention event "We move Bavaria" will take place simultaneously at five locations in Bavaria - organized by the Bavarian Center for Cancer Research (BZKF).
Look forward to a day full of exercise, inspiration and shared experiences! Whether you are already active in sports or simply curious - here you will discover new opportunities, meet people from your region and get practical ideas for a healthy, active life.
Inclusion is a matter of course for us. Barrier-free offers and special hands-on stations ensure that everyone is fully involved - active, visible and in the thick of it.
On site, regional sports clubs and organizations will show you how much fun exercise can be. Be inspired, get talking and find activities that suit you and your everyday life.
Participation is free of charge.
Whether you are a child, adult, senior citizen or family... - this day is for you. For everyone.
Come along, join in and become part of a major Bavaria-wide campaign that shows:
Together we move more.
In Augsburg. Erlangen. Munich. Regensburg. Würzburg.
We look forward to seeing you!

Exercise is the best medicine
Exercise is much more than training or weight loss. It is a powerful key to better health and quality of life - preventative, supportive and invigorating. And best of all, exercise has no side effects.
Physical activity is becoming increasingly important, especially at a time when many people are not getting enough exercise. It is open to everyone - regardless of age, fitness or experience. Even small steps can make a big difference.
What exercise does to your body
If you exercise regularly, you set a whole chain of positive effects in motion:
Your heart beats more strongly, blood circulation improves, blood pressure and blood sugar are balanced. Muscles activate the metabolism, support fat burning and help the body to better regulate hormones.
Exercise is not only good for the body - it also has a positive effect on the psyche. It strengthens the immune system, helps against inflammation, promotes concentration and lifts the mood. Regular exercise can significantly reduce the risk of many chronic diseases such as diabetes, depression, joint problems and certain types of cancer.
