Innovation Matchmaking - Oncology: Start-ups x Bavarian University Hospitals
The "Innovation Matchmaking - Oncology" event on September 25, 2025 in Erlangen impressively demonstrated how successful bridges can be built between founders and clinical experts. Together with Bayern Innovativ GmbH , we created a platform to link new ideas with concrete challenges in everyday clinical practice.
Highlights:
- Pitch sessions by innovative start-ups with new approaches in diagnostics, therapy and digital solutions
- Panel discussion "Innovation meets everyday clinical practice" with a focus on clinical studies, data use and exchange
- Speed dating sessions for a targeted exchange between start-ups and clinical experts on specific use cases
- Dialogue with the BZKF lighthouse groups on topics such as AI/bioinformatics, cellular immunotherapies, local therapies, theranostics, data protection and much more.
The day ended in "Bavarian style" with open networking and many new contacts - a successful conclusion full of inspiring discussions.
Our conclusion:
An all-round successful event that encouraged innovation, opened up new perspectives and laid the foundations for future collaborations.
