Digital platform for personalized nutrition in case of taste changes
Gustabor study - Shaping taste in a targeted way
Optimizing taste perception in oncology: Gustabor - tailored nutritional interventions
Under the leadership of the University Hospital of Würzburg, the six Bavarian university hospitals are developing the Gustabor AI platform, which supports cancer patients with tailored nutritional recommendations. The aim is to effectively alleviate taste disorders during tumor therapy by combining individual taste profiles, 500,000 recipes and state-of-the-art algorithms. The project, funded by the BZKF with €467,480, combines expertise from medicine, nutritional science, psycho-oncology and IT and is being evaluated in a clinical study at all Bavarian locations.
