Wilko Weichert Young Scientist Academy
With the establishment of the Wilko Weichert Young Scientist Academy, the BZKF will further expand its support for young scientists.
The aim is to strengthen Bavaria as a science location in the long term and to promote the potential of young scientists.
Since 2022, scholarships have been awarded for projects in the field of oncological research.
With the targeted promotion of young scientists, the BZKF creates attractive research spaces and thus promotes networking between the Bavarian locations and the generations of researchers.

The clinical research projects are intended to contribute to further advancing the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Bavaria. The overriding aim is to speed up the transfer of new targeted procedures from the laboratory to the clinic.
